Registration: Valid Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC) Registration mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in the LDR/LDRP unit.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vitals during labour and delivery.
- Assist doctors during normal and high-risk deliveries and obstetric procedures.
- Handle and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide immediate postpartum and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and clinical records.
- Follow infection control, patient safety and hospital protocols.
- Coordinate with obstetricians, neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and attendants on postpartum care and breastfeeding.
Desired Profile
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in LDR/LDRP, Labour Room or Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Strong clinical and emergency-handling skills.
- Positive communication and teamwork.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
