Role & responsibilities

- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspection of machined components.

- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, control plans, and inspection standards.

- Check critical dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, threads, chamfers, holes, and other specified characteristics.

- Verify machine setup and component dimensions during production.

- Identify and segregate OK / Rework / Rejection components.

- Maintain in-process inspection reports, rejection records, and other quality documents.

- Follow Control Plan, SOP, Work Instructions, Inspection Standards, and Quality Procedures.

- Monitor process parameters and special characteristics where applicable.

- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for recurring defects.

- Maintain positive housekeeping and follow 5S, safety,



and workplace discipline.

- Support implementation of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 quality requirements, where applicable.

Preferred candidate profile

- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;.

- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.

- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes.

- Ability to understand dimensional tolerances and inspection requirements.

- Basic knowledge of 7 QC Tools and problem-solving techniques.

- Good observation and analytical skills.

- Ability to identify machining defects and process abnormalities.

- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining inspection records.

- Good coordination with Production and Quality teams.
