Role & responsibilities

1. Identify, test, diagnose, and manage disorders of human hearing, balance, and tinnitus; interpret test results of behavioral and objective measures
2. Counsel patients about hearing health and the possible need for treatment/management
3. Assess the candidacy of persons with hearing loss for hearing aids and cochlear implants
4. Prescribe Hearing aids fitting, programming, MAPING
5. Aural rehabilitation to ensure the best possible outcomes
6. Conduct newborn hearing screening programs under supervision of Senior Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist
7. Evaluate and manage children and adults with central auditory processing disorders
8. Screen speech-language, and other factors affecting communication function during initial identification of individuals with communication disorders
9.



Collaborate with educators regarding communication management, educational implications of hearing loss, educational programming, classroom acoustics, and large-area amplification systems for children with hearing loss

Preferred candidate profile:

- Involve in patient care, perform evaluations & treatments

Maintain records and progress notes of all the patients.
- Adequate Clinical knowledge to perform patient assessment & treatment planning

Valuable interpersonal and communication skills
- Candidate should have minimum of 1 year Experience

- Candidates from in and around Coimbatore are preferable - Job Location: Chennai

- Education Qualification: MASLP/MSc Speech/BASLP
