Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, coordinate daily nursing operations, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across assigned departments/shifts.
- Ensure proper allocation of duties and adequate staffing as per patient requirements.
- Monitor nursing care and ensure high standards of patient safety and quality care.
- Conduct regular rounds and identify nursing-related issues for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper documentation of nursing notes, medication charts, patient records, and reports.
- Monitor compliance with infection prevention and control practices.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, NABH standards, and nursing protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, housekeeping, pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments.
- Handle patient and relative concerns related to nursing services professionally.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and performance of nursing staff.




- Conduct/coordinate orientation, training, and competency assessments for nursing staff.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover between shifts.
- Monitor availability and proper usage of nursing equipment, emergency supplies, and consumables.
- Report incidents, medication errors, patient safety concerns, and other nursing-related issues to management.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and hospital accreditation processes.
- Prepare and maintain nursing-related reports and records.
