About the role

Quest Global is looking for a Mechanical Designer to support the mechanical and structural design of hyperscale data center modules. The role focuses on producing and checking accurate designs and drawings, coordinating design interfaces, and ensuring deliverables meet customer requirements and applicable industry standards.

Key responsibilities

- Create, check and support approval of mechanical and structural drawings and designs.
- Develop designs involving weldments, structures and sheet-metal components.




- Use SolidWorks for mechanical and structural design work, particularly weldments and structures.
- Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, piping and structural scopes.
- Review deliverables for accuracy, reliability, efficiency and safety.

Required qualifications and skills

- Technical certification in the relevant design discipline.
- 39 years of experience in mechanical or structural design and drafting, preferably in data center modules or a related environment.
- Hands-on experience in structural/mechanical drafting, weldments and sheet metal.
- Expert-level SolidWorks experience, particularly with weldments and structures.
- Positive written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred: Experience with Windchill or SAP.
