Poly Plast is a 58+ year old conglomerate in the composites industry with contemporary manufacturing facilities across three owned locations covering over 60,000 m (20,000 m covered). We manufacture GRP/FRP chemical equipment, pipes & fittings, scrubbing systems, blowers, FGD systems, fluoropolymer lining & coatings, FRP rods, water-swellable tapes for telecommunications, FRP rebar for construction, and related engineered products. Poly Plast is IMS certified and an approved PP welding facility (DVS GmbH).

Our products are manufactured to international standards including ASTM, AWWA, BS, EN, ASME, ISO, and DIN and we have executed technically challenging projects in India and overseas.

Role Purpose The Production Department will lead and manage all manufacturing activities related to FRP equipment such as tanks, vessels, ducts, scrubbers, and piping systems. The role focuses on achieving monthly production targets, ensuring product quality, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement in composite manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and execute end-to-end production activities for FRP equipment manufacturing.
- Achieve monthly, weekly,



and daily production targets in line with dispatch schedules and business commitments.
- Prepare and manage production schedules using MS Project, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Monitor target vs actual production and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Oversee FRP manufacturing processes including:
- Hand lay-up

- Filament winding
- Resin infusion / vacuum bagging

- Curing and finishing
- Ensure proper resin mixing, catalyst dosing (MEKP), curing cycles, and process control.
- Optimize utilization of manpower, molds, machines, and raw materials (resin, glass fiber, chemicals).
- Coordinate with Design, QA/QC, Purchase, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Lead and train production teams on FRP processes, safety handling of chemicals, and best practices.
- Manage inventory and material planning to avoid shortages or excess stock.

- Coordinate inspections such as

- Visual inspection

- Spark testing

- Hydro testing (if applicable)
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports highlighting production performance and target achievement.
