Role & responsibilities The Internal Conversion Cell Executive is responsible for converting eligible patient enquiries, leads, consultations, and recommended procedures into confirmed appointments, admissions, procedures, or treatment plans. The role focuses on timely patient follow-up, coordination with internal departments, addressing patient concerns, and improving conversion rates while maintaining a patient-centric approach.

- Handle leads generated through OPD consultations, health camps, digital channels, call centres, referrals, and internal hospital departments.
- Contact patients and attendants to understand their requirements and treatment status.
- Maintain accurate records of all leads and follow-ups in the hospital EMR/HIS or designated tracking system.
- Follow up with patients who have received consultation or treatment recommendations.
- Explain the next steps in the treatment journey, including appointments, investigations, procedures, and admissions.
- Address routine queries related to the treatment process, scheduling, documentation, and coordination.
- Coordinate with doctors, consultants, front office, billing,



insurance/TPA, nursing, and other departments to facilitate conversion.
- Follow up on pending cases until the patient confirms, postpones, or declines the recommended service.
- Conduct systematic follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp/SMS, email, or other approved communication channels.
- Maintain a skilled and empathetic communication style with patients and attendants.
- Identify reasons for non-conversion and record them accurately.
- Re-engage eligible patients who have postponed or discontinued their treatment journey.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a Healthcare Internal Conversion Cell, Patient Conversion, Patient Counselling, or similar hospital/healthcare role.
2. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and their attendants.
3. Must be able to speak and understand Kannada fluently for effective communication with patients and attendants.
