Quest Global is looking for an Electrical Designer to develop and check electrical drawings and 3D models for hyperscale data center modules. The role involves coordinating design interfaces and ensuring that electrical deliverables meet customer requirements and applicable industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Create and check electrical drawings and designs, including single-line diagrams and schematics.
- Prepare conduit-routing drawings, cable-tray routing models, and electrical 3D routing models.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve design interfaces and drawing discrepancies.
- Review deliverables for accuracy, reliability, efficiency and safety.
- Support drawing and design approvals within the assigned scope.
Required qualifications and skills
- A technical certification in an electrical design discipline.
- 3-8 years of experience in electrical design or drafting.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical and CADWorx Electrical.
- Experience preparing single-line diagrams, schematics, conduit-routing drawings, cable-tray routing models and electrical 3D models.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to adapt to new design software.
Preferred skills Experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Vault, Windchill or SAP is an advantage.
