Job Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Develop and execute the cybersecurity engineering strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and risk appetite.

Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of security controls, tools, and platforms, including but not limited to SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, vulnerability management, and cloud security solutions.

Drive the adoption of secure development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices across engineering teams.

Collaborate with development, operations, and other IT teams to integrate security into the entire technology stack.

Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning, and oversee remediation efforts.

Develop and maintain documentation for security architectures, configurations, and procedures.

Participate in incident response activities, providing technical expertise and leadership during security incidents.





Manage relationships with security vendors and evaluate new security products and services.

Present security strategies, roadmaps, and incident summaries to senior leadership.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level security solutions.

Deep understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).

Expertise in cloud security principles and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Robust knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and application security.

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.

Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SANS GIAC are highly desirable.
