Role Description The VLSI Design Verification role at Cranes Varsity is a full-time, in office position based in Hyderabad. The role involves developing and executing verification plans, writing test benches, and creating test cases to validate complex digital designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing design specifications, collaborating with design and architecture teams, reviewing documentation, and identifying functional issues and corner cases.

The professional in this role will use industry-standard tools and methodologies to perform simulation, debug failures, and generate verification reports.



The position also includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable VLSI solutions and supporting continuous improvement of verification processes.

Qualifications

- Strong architecture and design understanding, including experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to VLSI design and verification.
- Ability to conduct thorough technical Research to analyze specifications, standards, and emerging verification methodologies.
- Graphics and Graphic Design skills for creating clear technical diagrams, block-level representations, and visual documentation of verification flows.
- Solid foundation in digital electronics, VLSI design principles, and hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL).
- Experience with verification environments, simulation tools, and debugging techniques; familiarity with UVM or similar frameworks is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment on-site.
