About the role: We are seeking a Visual Designer with 5–6 years of experience in marketing-focused design. This role requires a creative professional with strong design fundamentals, a strategic mindset, and a keen eye for detail. You will create engaging, brand-aligned visuals for campaigns that drive business growth and sustainability awareness.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Design compelling marketing collaterals, including social media creatives, digital ads, brochures, presentations, and email templates.
- Collaborate with content, product, and marketing teams to produce visuals that effectively communicate Smart Joules' mission and offerings.
- Maintain consistency of the visual brand identity across all communication platforms.
- Take ownership of multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery with high-quality standards.




- Translate data and sustainability impact stories into infographics and other visual storytelling formats.

Tool Proficiency:

- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – Advanced

- Figma – For interface design, wireframes, and collaboration

- Canva – For quick-turn marketing designs

- After Effects / Premiere Pro – For basic animation and motion graphics (Preferred)

- PowerPoint / Google Slides – For creating impactful presentations

- Notion / Trello / Asana – For task and design workflow management (Optional)

- Basic HTML/CSS – A plus, but not mandatory

The Ideal candidate will have a proven track record and be a strategic thinker with a passion for creating impactful creatives and driving business results

Specific requirements include:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in a marketing-focused visual design role.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with a deep understanding of branding, layout, typography, and color theory.
- Portfolio showcasing marketing campaigns and brand-aligned visual work.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus points for

- Experience working with clean-tech, energy, or sustainability-focused brands.
- Familiarity with designing for performance metrics (e.g., ad CTRs, engagement).
- Exposure to corporate branding guidelines and design systems.
