EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in security and vigilance roles, with at least 5 years in a Senior Role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Manager Vigilance is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all security policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the safety and security of assets, employees, and customers. This role involves overseeing day-to-day security operations, managing security personnel, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal standards.

: Security Policies &

- Compliance:
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all security-related regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security protocols.

Incident Management

- Handle day-to-day incidents and accidents, including theft, loss of assets, harassment, sexual assault, and other emergencies.
- Conduct thorough investigations and provide timely reports to senior management.
- Maintain and monitor the Asset Protection System, including CCTV and Access Control systems.

Budget Management

- Prepare and manage the security budget, including monthly MIS/MMR and yearly budget for security, parking, and lift operations.
- Control and rationalize security expenses by optimizing manpower and resources without compromising productivity.
- Monitor security Capex and Opex budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. Manpower &
- Vendor Management:
- Oversee the management of security personnel, including patrols, duties, and training programs.
- Liaise with local authorities, MMRDA, and BMC to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, renewals, and performance evaluations. Training &
- Development:
- Conduct training and induction programs for new security personnel, focusing on areas such as bomb search, fire training, evacuation procedures,



and soft skills.
- Ensure continuous improvement of security staff through regular performance reviews and training updates.

Emergency

Response &
- Drills:
- Organize and conduct regular emergency drills, in coordination with retailers and customers, to ensure preparedness for any security breaches or emergencies.
- Lead security personnel in daily briefings and monitor their readiness for emergency situations. Compliance &
- Liaison:
- Ensure all compliance requirements with agencies, SLAs, and maintenance agreements are met.
- Work closely with local police and other authorities for annual crime risk analysis and update security standards accordingly.

Project Security Management

- Collaborate with project and architect teams on security design and Master Security Plans (MSP) for new and upcoming projects.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for security-related projects, from planning to execution and closeout.
- Develop security packages, including physical security, emergency response plans, and security assessment reports.

Asset

Protection &
- System Management:
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of all security and fire alarm systems, including CCTV, PA systems, baggage scanners, DFMD, HHMD, door alarms, panic alarms, guard tour systems, and command centre operations.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and surprise penetration tests to ensure the effectiveness of security measures. Reporting &
- Documentation:
- Prepare and present security proposals, assessments, and designs to clients.
- Create detailed white papers and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
