SparkSeed Ventures is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) and venture studio backing early-stage founders building for Tier 2 and Tier 3 India. Beyond capital, we work hands-on with our portfolio companies on strategy, branding, and storytelling, which means our own content and brand presence have to be sharp, consistent, and founder-grade.

ROLE SUMMARY

We're looking for a fresher Videographer to shoot original video content for SparkSeed and our portfolio companies - founder interviews, event coverage, office/culture content, and social-first video for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. You'll work closely with our content and editing team to turn ideas into footage that tells a compelling brand story. The founder and manager lead content strategy and direction, so you won't need to conceptualize content from scratch; what matters most is being a strong team player who executes direction well while proactively bringing in fresh ideas, formats, or trends you notice along the way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Shoot high-quality video content: founder interviews, event coverage, behind-the-scenes/culture content, and short-form social videos.
- Set up and operate cameras, lenses, gimbals, lighting, and audio recording equipment for each shoot.
- Plan shoots in advance with the content team - shot lists, storyboards, and location scouting.
- Capture clean B-roll and multiple angles to give editors flexibility in post-production.
- Coordinate with the video editor to make sure raw footage is organized, labeled, and handed off correctly.
- Travel to shoot locations across Bangalore as required (founder offices, events, studio setups).
- Accompany the CEO/leadership team to expos, conferences, and important external meetings or events (including outstation travel) to document proceedings through photos and video, for use in LinkedIn and Instagram content afterward.
- Maintain and take basic care of camera and audio equipment.
- Stay current with visual trends on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn video.





WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Diploma/degree in Mass Communication, Filmmaking, Photography, Multimedia, or a related field - or an equivalent portfolio built outside a formal course.
- Working knowledge of camera operation (DSLR/mirrorless), basic lighting setups, and audio capture.
- A demo reel, portfolio, or sample shoots (student projects, freelance, or personal work are welcome).
- A good eye for visual storytelling, framing, and composition.
- Comfortable working on-site in Bangalore and traveling locally for shoots.
- Should be comfortable traveling with the CEO/leadership team (including outstation, as needed) for expos and important meetings/events - all travel expenses covered by the company.
- Strong team player who can take explicit direction and execute reliably - content strategy and planning is led by the founder, so you're not expected to conceptualize content from scratch.
- A proactive mindset: comfortable suggesting fresh ideas, formats, or trends you notice (for example, on Instagram) from time to time, while following the agreed content direction.
- Willingness to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced startup environment.

GOOD TO HAVE (NOT MANDATORY)

- Experience with drone videography.
- Basic understanding of color theory and mood lighting.
- Familiarity with basic video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- Own camera/videography gear.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

- Probation period: 6 months from the date of joining (standard market practice).
- Confirmation: employment is confirmed as permanent upon successful completion of the probation period.
- Notice period: 30 days from either side, applicable after confirmation of employment.
