We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring our trekking adventures to life by producing captivating videos that resonate with our audience, promote our offerings, and elevate our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation (After Effects or similar tools is a plus).
- Strong storytelling skills and a good sense of pacing, music, and transitions.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Passion for trekking, adventure, or the outdoors is a significant plus.
- Shoot high-quality videos during treks, trips, events, and shoots.
- Capture trekkers, trek leaders, landscapes, behind-the-scenes moments, and experiences.
- Edit Reels, short-form videos, YouTube videos, and promotional content.
- Create engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Handle cameras, action cameras, gimbals, and other video equipment.
- Manage the complete video process from shooting to final editing.
- Work with the marketing team to create content based on campaigns and requirements.
- Organise and maintain the video footage and content library.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in videography and video editing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or a strong portfolio equivalent.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci
- Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Filmora, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of framing, composition, lighting, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to operate cameras and basic video equipment.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for shoots and trekking assignments.
- Passion for travel, trekking, adventure, and the outdoors is a robust plus.
- Portfolio/Showreel is required.
Good to Have
- Having your own good-quality camera, lenses, action camera, or gimbal is a strong plus.
- Drone videography experience.
- Photography skills.
- Motion graphics knowledge.
- Experience creating travel, lifestyle, outdoor, or adventure content.
- Basic understanding of social media content and performance.
