Job Overview To join our dynamic team, we need an experienced Video Editing Lead with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including a proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of editors. As the senior-most creative voice on the editing team, you will own the editing strategy end-to-end — setting the creative and technical standards for our content, building and managing a high-performing team of editors, and driving the continuous growth and quality of our video output to match our brand concept and target demographic. This is a leadership role for someone who combines strong hands-on editing craft with the ability to lead people, set direction, and scale a content operation.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of video editors, assigning work, reviewing output, and providing constructive feedback to raise the team's overall craft

Set and maintain editorial and creative standards, ensuring every video aligns with the brand's style, tone, and storytelling quality

Define and drive the video editing strategy in line with channel growth goals, audience trends, and content performance data

Plan team workflows and resourcing, ensuring the right editor is matched to the right project and deadlines are consistently met

Collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to brainstorm, develop, and greenlight video concepts and ideas

Personally edit raw footage for flagship or high-priority videos, implementing effects, transitions, music, and sound design to enhance production value

Optimize videos for online viewing, ensuring correct aspect ratio, colour correction,



and compression

Own the recruitment, onboarding, and skill development of recent editors as the team scales Maintain an excellent understanding of English to effectively communicate with clients and interpret client briefs

Requirements

Proven experience leading or supervising a team of video editors, with strong people-management and coaching skills

Strategic mindset, with the ability to translate channel growth and audience goals into an actionable editing plan

Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and techniques, bringing innovative ideas to the team

Collaborate with the production team to ensure video quality meets specified requirements

Set priorities and manage deadlines across multiple editors and projects, ensuring timely delivery of content to quality standards

Ability to lead collaboratively in a team environment and resolve conflicts constructively

Strong creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and sound decision-making under pressure

Skills And Software Proficiency

Premiere Pro (expert level)

Photoshop After Effects (Good to have)

Team leadership and performance management

Excellent communication skills in English

Experience & Qualifications





Bachelor's degree in animation or any other relevant degree,

with 5+ years of proven experience in video editing software (Premiere Pro),

including at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity

Strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects, along with examples of team or project leadership

Demonstrated ability to plan for team growth, including training, hiring, and workflow improvement

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
