About Narayana Solar Narayana Solar is engaged in Solar EPC and Solar Project Solutions , serving residential, commercial and industrial customers.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can drive solar sales, manage customer relationships, generate business opportunities and achieve monthly revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities in the solar sector.
Generate leads through calls, references, field visits and other channels.
Handle residential, commercial and industrial solar customers.
Understand customer electricity requirements and propose suitable solar solutions.
Explain On-Grid, Off-Grid and Hybrid Solar Systems to customers.
Conduct customer meetings and solar project presentations.
Follow up with qualified leads and convert them into customers.
Prepare quotations and coordinate with the technical team.
Negotiate with customers and close solar projects.
Maintain the complete sales pipeline in CRM/ERP.
Build relationships with customers, builders, businesses and institutions.
Manage sales follow-ups and ensure timely closure.
Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
Coordinate with installation, finance and support teams after order confirmation.
Develop and manage a strong solar sales pipeline.
Target-Based Role This is a performance and target-based Business Development Manager position .
The candidate will be responsible for achieving:
Monthly sales targets
Revenue targets
Lead conversion targets
Customer meeting targets
Project closure targets




Additional performance incentives will be provided based on sales/project performance.
Salary & Incentive LevelSalaryBDM – Junior / Experienced₹20,000 – ₹25,000BDM – Experienced₹25,000 – ₹30,000Senior BDM₹30,000 – ₹35,000

Final compensation will depend on experience, solar industry knowledge, interview performance and previous sales achievements.
Candidate Requirements Graduate/MBA/BBA preferred.
2–6 years of experience in Solar Sales / Solar EPC / Renewable Energy Business Development preferred.
Strong knowledge of the solar industry.
Experience in residential/commercial/industrial solar sales will be an advantage.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong customer handling and closing ability.
Comfortable with phone calls, customer meetings and follow-ups.
Ability to work with monthly sales targets.
CRM/ERP knowledge preferred.
Hindi communication is required; English communication is preferred.
Must be willing to work from the Patna office .
