About the Role

Socioheads is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-house team at our Dwarka Sector 3 office.

You’ll be working on content for multiple brands across industries, creating engaging Instagram Reels, social media videos, promotional content, ads, and brand campaigns. We’re looking for someone who understands social media content—not just someone who knows how to cut clips.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, short-form videos, promotional videos and social media content.
- Create engaging edits with strong hooks, pacing, transitions, music and sound effects.
- Work with raw footage from shoots and transform it into platform-ready content.
- Add captions, text animations, graphics and other motion elements where required.
- Understand current Instagram/Reels trends and incorporate relevant editing styles.
- Collaborate with the social media and creative team to execute content ideas.
- Maintain consistency with each brand’s visual identity and tone.
- Edit content for different clients while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Organise and manage project files, footage and final exports properly.
- Be open to experimenting with new editing styles, AI tools and creative formats.

Requirements
- Prior experience in video editing is preferred.




- Strong knowledge of Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.
- Knowledge of basic colour correction, sound design, typography and motion graphics.
- Strong sense of timing, visual storytelling and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a creative team.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is required.

Who We’re Looking For Someone who is creative, fast, curious and genuinely interested in content creation. You should be someone who doesn't just follow references but can also bring new editing ideas to the table.

Experience with brand content, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, food, D2C or social media marketing will be an advantage.
