About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing, transitions, and social media content.

You will be responsible for editing engaging videos for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and digital platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and other video content.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, graphics, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
- Understand briefs and convert raw footage into polished, engaging videos.
- Maintain consistency in brand style, quality, and visual identity.
- Coordinate with the content/creative team and incorporate feedback.
- Organize project files and deliver videos within agreed deadlines.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media formats.

Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional video editing experience.
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and sound.




- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color correction is preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset and strong attention to detail.

Work-from-Home Requirements

Since this is a remote position, the candidate must have:

- Their own computer/laptop capable of handling professional video editing.
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection.
- Necessary video editing software installed and ready to use.
- A suitable workspace for remote work.
- Ability to attend online meetings and communicate regularly with the team.

Preferred
- Experience creating content specifically for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of current social media video trends.
- Basic graphic design or motion graphics skills.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work.

Compensation

Salary: Depending on experience and skills.
