Role Description The Video Editor role at Cockatoo Pixels is a full time, on-site position based in Piravom. In this role, the Video Editor will handle end-to-end video post-production, including assembling raw footage, refining cuts, adding transitions, and integrating audio to create polished content for various platforms.

Editor will collaborate with designers, motion artists, and content creators to develop engaging video assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include color grading, basic motion graphics, integrating still graphics,



and optimizing videos for social media and other digital channels.

Editor will also help maintain an organized media library, stay updated on visual trends, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall quality of the agency’s work.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital, social media, and branded content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual output.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics for engaging intros, outros, and overlays.
- Experience working with Graphics and visual assets, including logos, illustrations, and layouts.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar tools for motion graphics is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary creative teams on-site.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
