Skills:

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video editing, cuts, transitions, and pacing
- Good storytelling skills through editing
- Understanding of music selection, sound design, and SFX
- Knowledge of typography, fonts, and text-based visual design
- Basic knowledge of colour correction and colour grading
- Experience editing content for social media platforms, especially Reels
- Understanding of editing requirements for digital advertisements
- Robust sense of visual aesthetics and attention to detail

Role and Responsibilities:

- Edit engaging video content for social media, Reels, digital campaigns, and advertisements.
- Create visually compelling edits with strong storytelling, appropriate cuts, pacing, and transitions.
- Work with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve for editing and post-production.
- Select and integrate suitable music, sound effects, and SFX to enhance the overall impact of videos.




- Create and design text elements, titles, captions, and typography that complement the visual content.
- Apply basic colour correction and grading to maintain consistency and improve the visual quality of videos.
- Adapt videos into different formats and aspect ratios suitable for social media platforms and advertising requirements.
- Collaborate with the creative and production teams to understand concepts, briefs, and campaign objectives.
- Ensure all final edits meet quality, branding, and platform-specific requirements.

You’ll work closely with the creative and production teams across social media, Reels, campaigns, and advertisements, with opportunities to take ownership of larger projects and grow into a Senior Video Editor or Creative Lead role as Communitie expands.
