Role Description As a Video Editing Intern – Educational Content, you will support the creation of clear, engaging video lessons and interview-prep content for learners. On a typical day, you will organize raw footage, edit educational videos, add captions and basic graphics, and ensure smooth transitions and pacing aligned with learning objectives. You will collaborate with instructors and content creators to refine scripts, incorporate feedback, and maintain brand consistency across all video materials.

The internship role is remote, allowing you to work flexibly while coordinating with the team online.



This is an internship position with a focus on building portfolio-ready work and gaining real-world edtech experience.

Qualifications

- Ability to handle end-to-end Video Production tasks, including organizing footage, basic audio cleanup, and exporting in required formats.
- Strong Video Editing skills using common editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Foundational understanding of Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and readability for educational content.
- Basic to intermediate Motion Graphics skills for creating intros, outros, transitions, and simple learning aids.
- Ability to work with Graphics for thumbnails, overlays, and visual explanations that support learning.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in synchronizing audio, video, and on-screen text for clarity.
- Interest in educational or edtech content and willingness to understand technical topics (coding, system design) for better storytelling.
- Positive time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in media, film, design, communication, or a related field (or equivalent self-taught experience).
- Portfolio or sample work demonstrating video editing and motion graphics capabilities.
