Role Description The Vice President – Civil role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore, responsible for leading civil engineering and construction operations across multiple residential and township projects. This role oversees project planning, design review, and execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, timelines, and budgets. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with architects, structural consultants, and contractors, monitoring site activities, resolving technical issues, and optimizing resource utilization.

The Vice

President – Civil will establish and enforce construction standards, manage vendor relationships, and support feasibility studies and due diligence for new land acquisitions. The role also involves mentoring project teams,



implementing process improvements, and collaborating with leadership on strategic decisions related to infrastructure, development phasing, and long-term asset value.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in civil engineering, structural design concepts, and construction methodologies applicable to residential layouts, villa projects, and gated communities.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of multiple sites simultaneously.
- Sound knowledge of local building codes, regulatory approvals, safety standards, and compliance requirements within Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional site teams, contractors, and vendors with a focus on quality, timelines, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal leadership, customers, and external partners.
- Proficiency with project management tools, MS Office, and basic design or drawing review software; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree or additional certifications in construction management or real estate development is preferred.
- Prior leadership experience in real estate, township development, or large residential projects, ideally in or around Coimbatore.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct regular site visits, handle operational challenges, and make data-informed decisions under time constraints.
