Role Description The Vice President at BP⁡ Insurance Brokers will lead strategic initiatives, drive business growth, and oversee key client relationships across retail and corporate insurance segments. This full time, on-site role based in Kanpur includes managing cross-functional teams, setting performance goals, and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational objectives.

The Vice

President will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, refine risk advisory frameworks, and strengthen partnerships with insurers and corporate clients. Daily responsibilities include reviewing portfolio performance, guiding complex risk and claims decisions, mentoring senior staff, and enhancing operational processes for efficiency and client satisfaction.



The role also involves contributing to long-term planning, market expansion, and continuous improvement of advisory and service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in insurance advisory, risk management, and financial planning, preferably across Health, Life, Motor, Fire, and Corporate Insurance.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams, setting strategic direction, and driving business growth in insurance, financial services, or related sectors.
- Advanced skills in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation with corporate and retail clients.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, including IRDAI guidelines and industry best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex data, interpret market trends, and make informed decisions that support risk mitigation and portfolio optimization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
- Experience in process improvement, operations management, and implementation of scalable systems or policies to enhance service delivery.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; professional certifications in insurance or risk management are an advantage.
