An experienced Vendor Management Office (VMO) leader who has built and run governance-led vendor and sourcing operating models across technology, professional services, contingent labour, and facilities categories, and can own vendor governance, strategic sourcing, and contingent workforce operations for a large, complex account. The individual must be comfortable driving executive-level supplier reviews, leading high-value commercial negotiations, managing third-party risk in a regulated or healthcare-adjacent environment, and leading a specialist team through digital transformation of manual, fragmented processes into scalable, automated workflows.

Core Responsibilities:

- Govern the enterprise supplier portfolio across technology, professional services, contingent labour, facilities, and travel categories, designing vendor review, risk assessment, and escalation processes that improve supplier accountability and executive visibility.

- Own strategic sourcing, renewal planning, RFP/RFQ leadership, and commercial negotiations across enterprise spend categories, using rate benchmarking, liability allocation, and contract flexibility to improve commercial outcomes.

- Lead end-to-end contingent workforce governance requisition, onboarding, compliance, time capture, offboarding, and supplier performance — across a global contractor base.

- Drive digital transformation of vendor and contractor operations, migrating from manual/spreadsheet-based processes to integrated platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday) with automated handoffs that reduce operational overhead.

- Establish audit-ready controls supporting SOC/ISO and other compliance requirements, and manage third-party risk considerations including data handling, business continuity, financial stability, and security.

- Build and lead a specialist team across procurement, vendor governance, and adjacent operations,



setting clear ownership, performance expectations, deal-review practices, and continuous improvement routines.

- Track and report savings, spend, and vendor performance through dashboards and MIS, supporting company-wide procurement and cost-reduction mandates.

- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align vendor strategy with organizational priorities, including support for regional expansion and new supplier onboarding.

Process Skills:

- Vendor governance frameworks, SLA and KPI design, vendor scorecards, and executive QBRs

- Strategic sourcing, category management, and end-to-end RFP/RFQ leadership

- Procure-to-pay (P2P) transformation and contingent workforce lifecycle management

- Third-party risk management and audit/compliance readiness (SOC, ISO)

Qualification:

- 15+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or procurement leadership, including experience building or maturing a VMO or shared services function.

- Demonstrated track record of multi-million dollar savings, supplier negotiations, and audit-readiness outcomes, ideally within healthcare technology, BFSI, or another regulated industry.

- Experience governing contingent workforce operations and leading platform-driven transformation (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle).

- Bachelor's degree required; advanced management/operations qualification (e.g., COO/general management programme) preferred.
