ROLE

1. Test and refine how users interact with our app in Arabic.

2. Speak to the application using natural, everyday Arabic.

3. Evaluate whether the application correctly understands what users mean and responds appropriately.

4. Help ensure that the Arabic voice experience feels natural, conversational, accurate, and easy to use.

5. Identify and highlight interactions that sound translated, scripted, unnatural, or difficult for users to understand.

6. Ensure the voice experience reflects how Arabic is actually spoken in real-life situations.

7. Approach testing from a real user's perspective and identify potential issues in the overall voice experience.

8. Work towards creating an Arabic voice experience that feels natural and intuitive for Arabic-speaking users.

9. This role is ideal for someone who is a native Arabic speaker, understands everyday spoken Arabic, and enjoys testing and improving technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Voice Test using natural, everyday spoken Arabic across different user journeys.

2. Speak to the application using the way people naturally communicate in daily conversations, rather than only formal or written Arabic.

3. Test different ways users may ask the same question or request, including colloquial expressions, variations in sentence structure, and common conversational phrases.

4. Identify situations where App misunderstands a user's intent, pronunciation, wording, or conversational context.

5. Test whether App provides the correct response and successfully completes the intended transaction.

6. Identify unnatural, confusing, incorrect, or overly formal Arabic responses.

7. Suggest more natural Arabic wording and conversational responses where required.

8. Test different accents, pronunciations, speaking speeds, and common variations in everyday speech.

9. Create and maintain Arabic voice test scenarios covering different user journeys and possible user inputs.

10. Report bugs, incorrect responses, misunderstandings,



and other voice-experience issues clearly to the product and engineering teams.

11. Work closely with the product and engineering teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.

12. Re-test voice journeys after changes to ensure that improvements work as expected.

13. Help build a library of real-world Arabic phrases and expressions that users are likely to use while interacting with App.

14. Support customer-specific testing and validation of Arabic voice journeys before delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Native Arabic speaker with excellent command of spoken and written Arabic and English.

2. Strong understanding of day-to-day, conversational Arabic as it is actually spoken by people in real-life situations.

3. Ability to distinguish between formal Arabic and natural conversational Arabic.

4. Good understanding of common colloquial expressions, alternative ways of saying something, and variations in everyday speech.

5. Positive English communication skills, both spoken and written, to communicate with our product and engineering teams.

6. Ability to explain an Arabic language or voice issue clearly in English.

7. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle differences in meaning, pronunciation, and intent.

8. Ability to think from the user's point of view and anticipate how different users may speak to a voice assistant.

9. Comfortable testing software applications and providing structured feedback.

10. Ability to simplify and explain language-related issues to non-Arabic-speaking team members.

11. Curiosity about AI, voice assistants, conversational interfaces, and new technology.
