:Location: Guindy, Chennai ( initial one month work from home )

Working Hours: UK working hours ( 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm April to September / 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm October to March )

Working day : Monday to Friday ( 2 Saturday in a month will be working )

Alliance Workforce Advisory Pvt Limited is a growing business providing outsourced services to UK-based property developers, housing associations, charities and other organisations. We are looking for a Utilities & Compliance Officer to join our growing team and support the management of utilities and property-related accounts for our UK-based clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, commercially minded, proactive and keen to develop their career in procurement, management and business operations.

What you'll be responsible for

- You will work across a range of UK property-related activities, including:
- Opening and managing energy, water, waste and internet accounts
- Managing Council Tax and Business Rates accounts
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, councils and internal teams
- Obtaining and comparing utility prices and contract options
- Supporting supplier selection and contract renewals
- Monitoring contract expiry dates and identifying opportunities to change suppliers or improve value
- Coordinating with maintenance and construction teams to obtain the information and supporting evidence required to accurately open and maintain relevant accounts, including meter readings, meter photographs and property information
- Identifying and applying appropriate Council Tax and Business Rates reliefs and exemptions
- Investigating and resolving supplier and account issues
- Raising and managing complaints with suppliers where required




- Maintaining accurate property, account and contract records
- Providing relevant payment and direct debit information to the Accounts team

Training & Career Development You don't need to be an expert in the UK utilities market from day one. We will provide structured training during your initial 3-month training period to help you understand UK utilities, Council Tax, Business Rates, suppliers, property processes and our internal systems. Initially, you will work on individual tasks and assigned properties. As your knowledge develops, you will progressively take ownership of complete property cases. Our objective is that, within approximately 12 months, you will be capable of independently managing most day-to-day utilities and compliance cases, including coordinating with clients, suppliers and local authorities. You will continue to report to the Utilities & Compliance Manager, with commercial and contractual commitments subject to the appropriate management approval.What we're looking for Essential:

- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Confidence dealing with external organisations and suppliers
- Negotiation and commercial awareness




- A proactive, self-starting approach
- Willingness to learn and develop

Desirable:

- Experience working with UK-based clients
- Experience in utilities, property, procurement, facilities management, accounts administration or compliance
- Experience with contract or supplier management
- Familiarity with project management
- Experience using AI/LLM tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
- Familiarity with workflow or automation tools

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹1,002,908.38 per month
