Role Description This is a full-time, on-site US Tax Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The US Tax Accountant will prepare and review US individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations.

The role includes analyzing financial data, reviewing source documents, and reconciling accounts to support accurate tax reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities involve working with financial statements, identifying tax issues, assisting with tax planning,



and collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines during tax season and throughout the year. The accountant will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of US tax regulations, contribute to process improvements, and communicate clearly with team members and clients’ representatives as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong tax knowledge and practical experience in US Tax and US Tax Preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Tax Compliance, including understanding of US federal and state tax laws and filing requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting, with the ability to apply accounting principles to tax-related work.
- Candidates should possess the ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements for tax and reporting purposes.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or EA qualification (or pursuit of such credentials) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with tax and accounting software; experience with US-based clients or CPA firms is preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a structured environment, and readiness to meet tight deadlines during peak tax periods.
