About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to manage and drive end-to-end production operations for our electronics manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electronics manufacturing, production planning, shop-floor management, manpower handling, quality coordination, productivity improvement, and timely production delivery.

Candidates with hands-on experience in audio products such as speakers, soundbars, amplifiers, headphones, earphones, Bluetooth/portable audio devices or related consumer electronics will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution

- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production as per business requirements.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within defined timelines, quality standards, and cost parameters.
- Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Engineering, and other functions to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production schedules and proactively address bottlenecks and delays.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, machines, and other resources.

2. Shop-Floor Management

- Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations and shop-floor activities.
- Supervise production teams, operators, technicians, and line supervisors.
- Allocate manpower effectively across production lines.
- Monitor line productivity, output, rejection, downtime, and overall efficiency.
- Maintain discipline, safety, 5S, and standard operating practices on the shop floor.

3. Electronics / Audio Manufacturing





- Manage production processes related to electronic assemblies and finished consumer electronic products.
- Experience with assembly, testing, soldering, PCB-related processes, wiring, functional testing, and final product assembly will be preferred.
- Exposure to audio product manufacturing and testing will be an added advantage.
- Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve product/process reliability.

4. Quality & Process Improvement

- Ensure adherence to defined quality standards and SOPs.
- Identify recurring production and quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Reduce rejection, rework, wastage, and production losses.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other process-improvement initiatives.

5. Manpower Management

- Lead, motivate, and develop the production team.
- Monitor manpower productivity and utilization.
- Identify manpower requirements based on production plans.
- Train employees on processes, SOPs, safety, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters.

6. MIS & Production Reporting

- Maintain daily production reports and key manufacturing data.
- Track and report production achievement, productivity, rejection, downtime, efficiency, and manpower utilization.




- Prepare regular production MIS for management review.
- Identify gaps against production targets and provide corrective action plans.

7. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate closely with PPC, Purchase, Stores, Quality, R&D;/Engineering, SCM, Maintenance, and Sales/Business teams.
- Ensure production readiness for new product launches and engineering changes.
- Support NPD/NPI activities from a manufacturing and production perspective.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for production-related issues when required.

- Required Experience & Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing operations.
- Strong experience in electronics manufacturing / consumer electronics is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in audio manufacturing will be highly relevant.
- Experience in managing production teams and shop-floor operations.
- Strong understanding of production planning, assembly, testing, quality, and process improvement.
- Positive knowledge of manufacturing processes, SOPs, 5S, Lean/Kaizen, and production MIS.
- Strong problem-solving and team-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on production professional who is comfortable managing both people and shop-floor operations, understands electronics manufacturing processes, and can take ownership of production targets, quality, productivity, and timely delivery. Audio-product manufacturing experience will be a strong advantage.
