We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester / QA Analyst with strong hands-on experience in functional software testing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can hit the ground running, work independently, and deliver immediate value to our U.S.-based client.

This is a full-time remote position offered on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

⏰ Working Hours: Night-shift hours required to align with our U.S.-based client's Eastern Time (ET) business hours.

Qualifications

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing / QA.
- Solid experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Proficiency in analyzing business requirements, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Strong experience writing, reviewing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scripts.
- Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and retesting software defects/bugs, including providing clear steps to reproduce and supporting information.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and SQL Server for data validation and backend testing.
- Experience with API testing and Postman.
- Ability to independently write test cases based on complex technical requirements.




- Experience performing regression testing following application changes, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Ability to collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and define/refine acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Strong work ethic, ownership, and ability to manage multiple testing activities within project timelines.

Nice to Have
- Experience testing applications built with .NET/C#, React, JavaScript, or SQL Server.
- Experience with Visual Studio.
- Familiarity with JMeter or other performance testing tools.
- Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, or other test automation tools is a plus, but not required.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
