We are urgently looking for an experienced Purchase Manager / Procurement Manager with an Engineering background to manage end-to-end procurement operations for our manufacturing facility in Bommasandra, Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, mechanical components, spares, consumables and capital items.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors to ensure quality, competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Handle Purchase Requisitions (PRs), RFQs, Purchase Orders (POs) and material follow-ups.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Maintenance and Finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement to avoid shortages and excess stock.
- Track vendor performance and resolve quality, pricing and delivery issues.
- Maintain purchase documentation, ERP entries and MIS reports.




- Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 5–7 years of hands-on purchase / procurement experience in a manufacturing plant (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, industrial materials and manufacturing requirements.
- Excellent vendor development, negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of GST, commercial terms and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates currently residing in or around Bommasandra / South Bengaluru.
- Experience in industrial or engineering manufacturing procurement.
- Familiarity with the Bengaluru vendor market will be an added advantage.
- Candidates who can join at short notice are preferred.
