We are looking for an experienced JD Edwards Financial Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance modules. The consultant will support implementation, enhancement, rollout, upgrade and production-support engagements while working closely with finance stakeholders, technical teams and integration partners.

Required Experience

n

n
- 6–10 years of overall Oracle JD Edwards experience.
n
- Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.
n
- At least one or two end-to-end implementation or rollout engagements.
n
- Experience working in implementation and production-support environments.
n
- Prior consulting or Deloitte/Big Four experience is preferred.
n

- Strong experience with CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, data migration and go-live support.

- Ability to coordinate with development teams for reports, interfaces, conversions and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead functional workshops with finance and business stakeholders.
n
- Analyse current-state financial processes and identify gaps.
n
- Design and configure JDE EnterpriseOne Finance solutions.
n
- Prepare fit-gap assessments, process flows and functional specifications.
n
- Configure and support GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.
n
- Design Automatic Accounting Instructions and finance-related system setups.
n
- Troubleshoot posting, payment, receipt, reconciliation and period-close issues.
n
- Support data conversion, validation and reconciliation activities.
n
- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts and expected results.
n
- Conduct functional testing and support SIT and UAT.
n
- Coordinate defect resolution with technical, integration and business teams.
n
- Support cutover planning, deployment, hypercare and production stabilisation.
n
- Prepare user manuals, configuration documents, SOPs and training materials.
n
- Provide knowledge transfer and end-user training.
n
- Manage incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
n

Technical and Integration Exposure

n

n
- Basic understanding of JDE tables and data structures.
n
- Experience working with JDE reports and Universal Batch Engines.
n
- Understanding of Business Functions, Business Views and processing options.
n
- Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
n
- Exposure to Orchestrator, Business Services, APIs and third-party integrations.
n
- Understanding of finance integrations with Procurement, Sales Order Management, Inventory, Manufacturing and Payroll.
n
- Experience working with Vertex, Avalara, banking systems or payment platforms is advantageous.
