Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriter to join our Merchant Services team. In this role, you will assist in evaluating, underwriting, and managing merchant accounts to ensure they meet company standards and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Merchant Application Review Risk Assessment

- Review and assess merchant applications, financial statements, and business documentation.
- Perform risk analysis and identify potential fraud or compliance risks.
- Assist in underwriting decisions and ensure adherence to company policies.

Merchant Stakeholder Communication

- Request additional documentation or clarification from merchants as needed.
- Communicate effectively with merchants and internal teams.

Ongoing Monitoring Compliance

- Monitor ongoing merchant performance and compliance.




- Stay up to date with industry regulations and trends.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with merchant services or underwriting is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
