Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Ultrasound Typist / Medical Transcriptionist to accurately prepare and type ultrasound reports based on the findings and dictations provided by radiologists. The candidate should have strong knowledge of medical terminology and Human anatomy and prior experience in ultrasound/medical report transcription.
Key Responsibilities
- Type and prepare accurate ultrasound and radiology reports based on doctors' dictation/findings.
- Ensure accuracy in medical terminology, measurements, findings, and report formatting.
- Coordinate with radiologists and doctors regarding report-related clarifications.
- Review reports for spelling, grammar, formatting, and transcription errors.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
- Complete reports within the required turnaround time.
- Prepare Form F
- Handle other related documentation and transcription duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Ultrasound Typist, Medical Transcriptionist.
- Freshers are not eligible for this position.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology and ultrasound terminology.
- Excellent typing speed with high accuracy.
- Strong English language, spelling, and grammar skills.
- Ability to understand and accurately transcribe doctors' dictations.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Willingness to work split-timing shifts is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic centre/hospital will be preferred.
