Job Summary We are looking for a qualified finance skilled with 3-7 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial reporting, preferably from a public accounting or financial services environment. The ideal candidate is well-versed in IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, statutory reporting, and financial statement preparation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing key balance sheet and P&L; accounts and preparing associated US GAAP and UK GAAP journals.
- Supporting month-end closing activities, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conducting business unit performance analysis by legal entity and identifying anomalies and trends.
- Maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Preparing management accounts for legal entities on an ad-hoc basis.
- Preparing financial statements for legal entities in accordance with FRS 101, FRS 102, and IFRS.
- Liaising with external auditors to ensure timely completion of statutory audits.
- Ensuring timely submission of financial and non-financial information to relevant local authorities.
- Preparing VAT and Corporate Tax returns.

Requirements

- Holding 3-7 years of experience in audit, finance, accounting, or financial reporting, preferably within public accounting or financial services.
- Possessing ACA, CA,



or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Having a strong audit practice background with hands-on financial reporting experience.
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, and applicable accounting standards.
- Having experience in preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS, particularly FRS 101 and FRS 102.
- Possessing a good understanding of general tax accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and local tax regulations.
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.
- Demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Being comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with conflicting deadlines.
- Being available to work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week from the office.
