Job Summary The UKG Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment for young children. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, develop foundational academic and social skills, maintain classroom discipline, and ensure the overall development of each child.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

- Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate lessons for UKG students.
- Teach foundational concepts in English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and other subjects as per the school curriculum.
- Use storytelling, rhymes, games, art, craft, music and activity-based learning to make lessons interactive.
- Develop children's reading, writing, speaking, listening and basic numeracy skills.
- Use teaching aids, worksheets, flashcards and digital resources effectively.

2. Child Development

- Focus on the child's academic, social, emotional, physical and creative development.
- Encourage confidence, independence, communication and positive behaviour.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support.
- Encourage children to participate in classroom activities and group learning.

3. Classroom Management

- Maintain a safe, clean, organised and child-friendly classroom.
- Establish age-appropriate classroom routines and expectations.
- Ensure proper supervision of students during classroom activities, breaks and transitions.
- Promote good manners, hygiene, sharing and respectful behaviour.

4. Assessment & Documentation

- Regularly observe and assess students' learning and development.
- Maintain student portfolios, assessment records and other academic documentation.
- Prepare worksheets, activities and assessments as required.




- Provide timely feedback regarding students' progress.

5. Parent Communication

- Maintain qualified and positive communication with parents.
- Share relevant updates regarding the child's academic progress, behaviour and overall development.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and address parent queries appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with parents to support the child's development.

6. Co-Curricular & School Activities

- Participate actively in celebrations, events, competitions and school functions.
- Organise age-appropriate activities, performances and classroom projects.
- Encourage students to participate confidently in co-curricular activities.

7. Teamwork & School Responsibilities

- Coordinate with the Pre-Primary Coordinator and fellow teachers.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions and workshops.
- Follow school policies, academic guidelines and administrative procedures.
- Complete assigned duties and responsibilities within the given timelines.
- Maintain professional conduct, punctuality and regular attendance.

Educational Qualification:-

- Graduate degree from a recognised university.
- NTT / D.El.Ed / B.Ed / ECCE or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Good command of spoken and written English.

Experience:-

- 1–3 years of experience in teaching UKG / Kindergarten / Early Years preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and a passion for teaching may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,311.54 - ₹22,878.63 per month
