Automotive OEM/Tier-1 experience in interior trims, exterior trims, or plastic components is often preferred. Good understanding of automotive trim design and plastic component design . Knowledge of GD&T;, DFM/DFA, injection molding, tooling, and manufacturing processes . Experience with sheet/solid modeling, assemblies, surfacing, drafting, and NX design tools . Ability to interpret 2D drawings and customer specifications . Good communication and coordination skills.
