Job Summary:

We are looking for a Transport Operations Executive to manage day-to-day transportation activities and ensure smooth movement of vehicles and shipments. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with drivers, transporters, customers, and vendors, monitoring vehicle movements, coordinating loading and unloading activities, resolving operational issues, and ensuring timely completion of deliveries and documentation.

About the Role:

The role involves handling end-to-end transport coordination, including vehicle placement, shipment movement, driver coordination, delivery tracking, POD follow-up, and billing documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in local and interstate transportation operations and be comfortable managing multiple vehicles and shipments simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate vehicle placement and day-to-day transportation operations.
- Coordinate with drivers, transporters, customers, and vendors for smooth shipment movement.
- Plan and follow up on vehicle availability and placement as per transportation requirements.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities.
- Monitor vehicle movement and track shipment status until delivery.
- Follow up with drivers and transporters regarding delays, breakdowns, route issues, and other operational challenges.




- Resolve day-to-day transportation and delivery-related issues through effective coordination and follow-up.
- Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle status, shipment movement, and delivery updates.
- Follow up for PODs (Proof of Delivery) after completion of deliveries.
- Collect and maintain PODs, billing documents, and other transportation-related documents.
- Maintain proper records of vehicles, shipments, deliveries, and transportation activities.
- Handle multiple vehicles and shipments simultaneously and ensure timely follow-up.

Required Skills:

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of local and interstate transportation operations.
- Positive understanding of vehicle placement and fleet operations.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, transporters, customers, and vendors.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple vehicles and shipments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of transportation documentation and POD follow-up.
- Knowledge of transport/fleet management software will be an advantage.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.

Qualification & Experience:

- Any Graduate / Diploma.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics, transport, fleet, or transportation operations.
- Experience in vehicle placement, shipment coordination, fleet operations, or transport operations is preferred.
- Experience coordinating with drivers, transporters, customers, and vendors will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in local and interstate transportation operations are preferred.
