- Role Title: Human Resources Apprentice / HR Trainee
- Reports To: HR Manager / HR Business Partner / Employee Relations Manager
- Duration: 12 months
- Position Objective: Assist the people/HR team with administrative duties, foundational employee engagement, and record-keeping while developing professional HR competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Administration: Assist with joining formalities, preparing offer letters, collecting new-hire documentation, and setting up personnel files.
- Employee Queries: Serve as a first point of contact for staff questions regarding basic HR policies, advantages, or attendance.
- Data Management: Maintain and update employee databases, attendance records, and HR systems with accurate data.
- Recruitment Support:
Post job descriptions, screen entry-level resumes, coordinate interview schedules, and communicate with candidates.
- Engagement & Wellbeing: Help organize internal team activities, wellness initiatives, or company culture events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Recent MBA in Human Resources.
- Core Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace.
- Soft Skills: Strong active listening, clear verbal and written communication, organized approach, and high confidentiality awareness
