Role Description The Trainee role at Vivartan Technologies is a full-time, on-site position based in Mysore. Trainees will participate in structured training programs in VLSI and Embedded Systems, including classroom sessions, lab-based exercises, and project work under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include learning and applying core concepts, contributing to assigned projects, documenting work,



and collaborating with mentors and peers to solve technical problems. Trainees may assist in research activities related to processor design and semiconductor innovation, gaining exposure to real-world industry practices. The role is designed to help early-career engineers build strong technical foundations and transition into professional engineering positions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electronics, VLSI, or embedded systems, with a degree in Engineering (e.g., ECE, EEE, CSE, or related discipline).
- Knowledge of digital design concepts, microprocessors/microcontrollers, and basic semiconductor fundamentals.
- Familiarity with programming in C/C++ or perl or python and basic exposure to hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) is an advantage.
- Ability to understand and work with circuit diagrams, debugging tools, and lab equipment; exposure to FPGA or embedded development boards is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to projects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a qualified attitude toward deadlines, documentation, and collaboration.
- Interest in semiconductor R&D;, processor architecture (such as RISC-V), and long-term career development in VLSI/Embedded domains.
