Trade Finance Operations 2+ Years- Chennai

We are hiring a Trade Finance Operations – Analyst / Sr. Analyst with experience in Trade Finance Operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Import & Export Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, and Trade Loans, along with knowledge of SWIFT messaging and international trade regulations. This opportunity offers exposure to banking operations, international transactions professional growth.

Responsibilities –

1. Process Trade Finance transactions, including Import & Export Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, Standby LCs, and Trade Loans.
2. Handle LC issuance, amendments, bill booking, acceptance, and settlement.
3. Process trade loans, including invoice discounting, supplier finance, rollover, and settlement.
4. Input transaction details into banking systems and generate SWIFT messages such as MT700, MT707, MT103, MT202, MT400, and MT760.
5. Follow maker-checker controls, minimize operational risks, and escalate suspicious transactions.
6. Coordinate with overseas branches and respond to operational queries to ensure timely transaction execution.

Requirements –

1. 2–5 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance Operations.
2. Hands-on experience in Import/Export LC, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, or Trade Loans.
3. Strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging, UCP 600, ISBP, and Documentary Credits.
4.



Proficiency in MS Excel and banking systems.
5. Robust numerical, analytical, and time management skills.
6. CITF or JAIIB certification would be an advantage.
