Role Description The Tour Consultant is a full-time hybrid role based in Shimla, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing customized tour packages, advising travelers on destinations and activities, and managing bookings for transportation, accommodation, and local experiences.

Consultant will respond to inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, provide explicit and friendly communication, and ensure high-quality customer service before, during, and after trips. The role involves coordinating guided tours with local partners, preparing detailed itineraries and travel documents,



and resolving any issues that arise during a client’s journey.

Consultant will also support promotional activities, maintain accurate records in booking systems, and collaborate with the team to improve services and offerings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel & Tourism to design effective itineraries and advise clients on destinations and services.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact with travelers, manage expectations, and handle inquiries and feedback professionally.
- Candidates should possess experience with Guided Tours, including coordinating local guides, planning on-ground activities, and ensuring safe, enjoyable tour experiences.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field are beneficial.
- Familiarity with booking platforms, basic computer literacy, and comfort with email and online communication tools are preferred.
- Ability to work both on-site and remotely, manage multiple bookings, and maintain attention to detail under time constraints.
- Knowledge of Shimla and surrounding regions, and proficiency in English; additional local or international languages are an advantage.
