Role As a TM/Line In charge - you will be a part of Engine Plant -Steel Phase and will report to Section Head of Steel Phase. Your role will be:

- Shift production in-charge in Steel Phase.
- Meet Daily Production Target of Engine components (Crank Shaft, Connecting Rod & Cylinder Block) produced in Steel Phase with optimum utilization of resources.

A Purpose Driven Role for You

1. Hands-on experience with operation of Nagel Honing, Induction Hardening, Honing & AWH Cantered Grinders.
2. 3 and 4 axis CNC/VMC Machines Specifically Fanuc RoboDrill. (Ability to set up, program, operate and troubleshoot)
3. Hands-on experience with operation of Robots (Fanuc Robot Preferred).
4. Experience of Steel Components like 2 Wheeler Crank Shaft, Con Rod & Cylinder Block.
5. Knowledge of the Cutting Tools.
6. Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
7. Experience of TPM, improvements such as reducing set up time and machining time through process improvements.
8. Experience of IMS (ISO & OHSAS) & documentation.
9. Experience with production planning, execution, estimating and reporting.
10. Work well independently and can handle workmen directly.
11. Knowledge & hands-on experience of quality inspection tools & methods.
12. Problem-solving techniques.

A Day in the Life Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Preparation of all the documents related to DWM & their analysis e.g. control charts, process sheets, inspection sheets and machine check sheets.
- Daily monitoring of production targets as per customer requirements & takt time.
- Arranging and tackling manpower according to working pattern.
- Maintaining the documentation as per requirements of IMS.
- Daily rejection analysis and applying the countermeasures to the problems by using SDCA & PDCA approach.
- Exposure to production measurable functions PQCDSM.
- Calculating line efficiency and OEE data.
- Implementation of TPM activity on shop floor.
- Ensure 5S & daily maintenance in working area.
- Tool life monitoring & tool cost analysis.
- Leading and motivating the team to give suggestions, perform Kaizens.




- Calculating daily model-wise requirements considering PPC plan and crank shaft, cylinder block & connecting rod finish inventory in section & supermarket.
- Breaking daily requirements into shift/line-wise targets and providing resources in all lines in own shift.
- Auditing in-process, quality, safety, poke-yoke, CLRI audits, hourly production sheet and filling gaps by guiding, directing & supporting team.
- AM activity to be done on weekly basis as per plan & also during/after PM activity.
- Managing & motivating TPM circle members to achieve zero ABCD for Circle machines.
- Daily/weekly communication with team members regarding their personal or qualified issues.
- Daily reviewing work performance & motivating them for best work performance individually.

Academic Qualification & Experience

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3-6 years of relevant work experience.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 years of relevant work experience.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Hands-on experience with operation of Nagel Honing, Induction Hardening, Honing & AWH Cantered Grinders.
