Job title: SAP Finance Data Migration Expert

Seeking an experienced SAP Finance Data Migration Expert to support a major global ERP transformation programme.
You’ll take ownership of data migration activities for Finance-related data objects, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data is cleansed, prepared, migrated and validated to the required standards and project timelines.
You’ll act as the functional point of contact for data migration across your assigned objects throughout the deployment and hypercare phases.

Responsibilities
Lead data cleansing and preparation activities for assigned Finance data objects
Coordinate data collection and manual/construction activities
Work with IT teams on value mapping, extraction and data conversion
Maintain master data lists and migration documentation




Provide Finance/business expertise to technical migration teams
Work with Business Data Owners to define and confirm data scope
Ensure data quality and readiness throughout the migration lifecycle
Validate data before and after loading into the target system
Perform manual data loads where required
Support dual maintenance and data verification activities
Execute and approve data validation scripts
Act as the key contact for assigned objects during defect management and hypercare

Requirements
5+ years’ experience in SAP project implementations / data migration
Solid SAP Finance knowledge
Proven SAP data migration experience
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
Experience working across country and global programmes
