Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

- Teach Sanskrit to students of Classes VI to X as per CBSE/State Board curriculum.

- Prepare yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily lesson plans.

- Develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding Sanskrit.

- Use effective teaching methodologies, digital tools, and activity-based learning strategies.

- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations.

- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students.

- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to improve performance.

Classroom Management

- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.

- Encourage active participation and interactive learning.

- Foster respect for Indian culture, values, and linguistic heritage.

- Ensure student engagement through storytelling, shlokas, recitation, and language activities.

Student Development

- Encourage participation in Sanskrit competitions, debates, quizzes, essay writing, and cultural events.

- Guide students in projects related to Sanskrit literature and Indian traditions.

- Support the overall academic and personality development of students.

Co-Curricular &

- Cultural Activities

- Organize and participate in school assemblies, Sanskrit Day celebrations, and cultural programs.

- Promote spoken Sanskrit activities and language enrichment programs.

- Contribute to school clubs, events, and educational activities.

Parent &

- Stakeholder Engagement

- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and discuss student progress with parents.





- Coordinate with colleagues and school leadership for academic planning and student welfare.

- Maintain regular communication regarding student performance and improvement plans.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and academic documentation.

- Complete reports and school records within prescribed timelines.

- Participate in examinations, invigilation duties, evaluation work, and other school assignments.

- Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Principal from time to time.

Qualification &

- ExperienceEssential Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree with Sanskrit as a subject.

- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.

Preferred Qualification

- Master's Degree (M.A.) in Sanskrit.

- CTET/TET qualification as applicable.

Experience

- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.

- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and communication skills may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
