Job Summary

Teach the subjects allotted by the school in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE/CIE.

Responsibilities

- Handle a minimum of 30 teaching periods per week or as prescribed by the school timetable and academic requirements.

- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and teaching aids.

- Complete the syllabus within the stipulated academic schedule.

- Use cutting-edge, activity-based, and student-centric teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.

- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, communication, and application-oriented learning.

- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a positive learning environment in the classroom.

- Ensure effective classroom management and student engagement during all periods.

- Monitor student behaviour, participation, and attentiveness during lessons.

- Promote mutual respect, inclusiveness, and collaborative learning among students.

- Evaluate answer scripts and provide timely and constructive feedback to students.

- Guide students in their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.

- Encourage discipline, responsibility, leadership, and ethical values.

- Motivate students to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

- Identify students requiring additional support and coordinate with counsellors or special educators whenever necessary.
