Job Summary

Sainik Public School is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-focused TGT Teacher for English/Social Science. The selected candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, valuable classroom management abilities, and a willingness to use innovative and activity-based teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English and/or Social Science to Classes VI–X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach lower classes when required according to the school's timetable and academic requirements.
- Prepare and deliver structured and engaging lesson plans.
- Use activity-based, experiential, interactive, and digital teaching methods.
- Develop students' communication, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- For English: develop reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and creative-writing skills.
- For Social Science: effectively teach History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics as applicable.
- Use maps, timelines, case studies, discussions, projects, quizzes, and real-life examples to enhance learning.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers, revision material, and other teaching resources.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
- Provide remedial support to students who require additional academic assistance.
- Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus.
- Maintain teacher diary, lesson plans, attendance, and student progress records.




- Encourage participation in debates, quizzes, exhibitions, projects, public speaking, and other co-curricular activities.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and student-friendly classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress whenever required.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, workshops, and academic activities.
- Follow the school's culture, discipline, policies, and professional standards.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Principal/Academic Coordinator.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in the relevant subject.
- B.Ed. preferred/required as applicable.
- Relevant teaching experience in a school environment will be an advantage.
- Fresh candidates with strong subject knowledge and teaching skills may also be considered.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
