Job Title: Test Engineer

Experience:

Role Summary

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our QA team and develop hands-on experience in functional testing, API testing, automation, and quality engineering across Web, Desktop, and Mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.

- Develop and maintain automation tests using Selenium and Java.

- Maintain test documentation, test data, and regression suites.

- Collaborate with Developers, QA, Product, and other stakeholders.





- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvements.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.

- Knowledge of test case creation and defect lifecycle.

- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic understanding of web applications and SQL/databases.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

- Willingness to learn automation and API testing.

Good to Have

Selenium, Java, Postman, SQL, Jira, Git, Agile.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
