Role Description The Telecaller role at AGPH Books is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bhopal Area. The Telecaller will make outbound calls to educators, researchers, institutions, and prospective authors to introduce AGPH Books’ services, explain publishing packages, and generate leads.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining call records, updating the CRM or lead tracking system, following up on interested contacts, and scheduling meetings or callbacks for the sales or editorial team. The role also involves answering inbound queries,



providing clear information about products and services, and addressing basic questions related to publishing options and processes. The Telecaller will collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns, share insights from conversations, and contribute to achieving sales and outreach targets.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear telephone etiquette and the ability to build rapport with diverse academic and professional audiences.
- Basic sales and customer service abilities, such as lead generation, handling inquiries, following up with prospects, and supporting conversion of leads into clients.
- Organizational and documentation skills, including accurate record-keeping, updating call logs or CRM systems, and managing daily calling schedules.
- Comfort with using office productivity tools and calling software, and the ability to quickly learn new systems or platforms as needed.
- Fluency in Hindi and English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
- Prior experience in telecalling, telesales, or customer support, ideally in publishing, education, or a related field, is an added benefit.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work on-site in the Greater Bhopal Area with a professional and ethical approach.
