Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales operations for the Dermatology Division in the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for achieving business targets, developing the team and strengthening relationships with dermatologists and key customers.
Key Responsibilities
Drive regional sales strategy and achieve sales and business targets.
Lead, coach and manage the field sales team.
Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans.
Build solid relationships with Dermatologists, KOLs and key customers.
Drive product adoption, prescription generation and business growth.
Monitor primary and secondary sales and ensure effective stock management.
Analyze sales performance, market trends and competitor activities.
Identify new business opportunities and strengthen market coverage.
Conduct regular field visits with team members and provide coaching.
Ensure effective implementation of marketing and promotional strategies.
Track team productivity, coverage, call average and other sales KPIs.
Coordinate with distributors, stockists and internal stakeholders.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and market updates.
Candidate Profile
7–12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
Robust experience in Dermatology / Derma Division preferred.
Prior experience managing a regional/large territory sales team.
Robust understanding of the Dermatology market and doctor network.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Robust leadership, analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities.
Graduate/Postgraduate qualification; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
