Strategic Sourcing - Formulations

Role Purpose

/n

Responsible for ensuring timely availability of APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and other project requirements through effective sourcing and procurement strategies to support uninterrupted formulation project delivery.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Drive strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for formulation projects.

/n

- Ensure timely purchase order placement and material availability.

/n

- Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and continuity of supply.

/n

- Coordinate documentation for regulatory submissions, vendor qualification, audits, and quality agreements.

/n

- Support product lifecycle activities from material procurement through finished product delivery.

/n

- Manage artwork finalization and packaging-related coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

/n

- Negotiate and execute commercial agreements in collaboration with Legal, QA, RA, and business teams.

/n

- Monitor procurement hygiene, open deviations, vendor performance,



and compliance requirements.

/n

Key Stakeholders

/n

Internal: Scientific Teams, Project Management, Delivery Planning, Manufacturing, QA, QC, DQA, RA, Finance, Logistics.

/n

External: Vendors, Contract Manufacturers, Service Providers, Auditors, Consultants.

/n

Candidate Profile

/n

/n

- B. Sc./M. Sc. with MBA (Supply Chain/Operations preferred).

/n

- 5 to 7 years of pharmaceutical sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in formulations.

/n

- Exposure to regulated markets, vendor qualification, and supply chain operations.

/n

- Working knowledge of SAP MM, GMP, regulatory requirements, commercial agreements, and vendor management.

/n
